Becoming an official 501(c)(3) Non-profit:


  • Organized a Board of Directors
    First meeting was May 27, 2012


  • Applied for Non-Profit Incorporation in New Mexico
    Received June 5, 2012


  • Applied for Federal EIN
    Received July 19, 2012


  • Applied for State of New Mexico Sales Tax number
    Received August 14, 2012


  • Submitted the 1023 form for becoming a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
    Received 501(c)(3) Non-profit status on November 20, 2013


  • Applied for memberbership to the National Ski Area Association (NSAA)
    Received membership September 24, 2012.

  • New Resorts Opened from our direct efforts:

    • Pajarito Ski Area - Opened up to SkiBikes 2013/2014 season - no restrictions
    • Arizona Snowbowl - Opened up to SkiBikes 2013/2014 season - some restriction
  • Was able to get Demo insurance for the ASA organization-Fall 2015

  • ASA coordinating the 2016 Purgatory SkiBike Festival with Mountain

  • Completed second year of supporting Hartford Ski Spectacular with PSIA supported SkiBike clinics. Lots of wounded warriors on SkiBikes!! 2014 and 2015. Some board members have personally supported the event since 2007.

  • Completed 1st ASA educational webinar online. Ask an Expert with Don Koski aired Dec. 29, 2015. Next one is already scheduled. SkiBike platform Reviews only 2 weeks later.

  • Added 2 new ASA representatives in the past year to improve our efforts and representation across the USA. Jim Weiland from Arizona and Jeff Butcher form California 2015.

  • Completed 2nd ASA educational webinar online Jan. 12, 2016. SkiBike Platform Review and availability.
